re: Apparently I made a bit of a Mess!
On Friday I changed the domain of this blog from the .blog domain (back) to the .org domain, simply because I couldn't get used to the .blog domain.
The .org had been too much under my fingers and the browser's autocomplete didn't do much to help me. Somehow this had been quite annoying for me.
That change caused a little bit of a mess, which had been made worse since I can't apparently use the internet and forgot to update/change some settings my part as well.
Over the past few hours since, three things happened:
- now I couldn't get used to the
.orgdomain, despite having used it for a couple of years! Again, the browser's autocomplete didn't do much to help - to check the design on a different-sized phone than my own, I had to explain the
.orghandle to a person dear to me. Which was annoying. - for whatever reason I find the
.blogsimpler and more descriptive and somewhat neutral, for the lack of a better word
Since I don't use my org-mode based workflow anymore (which had been the original inspiration for the domain) I might as well stick to the .blog domain for the time being.
So, less than 48 hours later, I changed the domain back!
I guess I will now have yet another un-used domain and this will be final until the next time of course, when I will likely be buying a completely different domain. Who knows, maybe a .dumbass TLD will be available at some point.
