For the longest time I had been annoyed that by updating the /now page I invariably delete content and I always thought that it would be nicer in general to have an archive of these entries as well.

Currently I have "solved" this simple pre-pending the latest entry. During my latest update though I had the idea to make use of the possibility to "embed" posts of a certain category on a page here on Bearblog, thus giving this a try /now. (this surely worked, but in the end was too fiddly with the related CSS).

• I have more or less finished the move to Bearblog but am still finding some broken links and am still importing some "old" posts for posterity
• related to that I am "optimizing" my workflows and setups again, and daresay am much closer to a simple, minimal yet efficient setup. Feeling carefully optimistic. Should I be able to stick to this, I will post about this

Linux

I have finally restored, that is wiped my laptop, and went with "Kubuntu" this time. So far an excellent decision. The KDE environment is still on Plasma 5, but the machine works so wonderful and stable, that I got over my obsession with using the latest version of stuff.

Music

With the Oulu All Stars Big Band we're having a new recording coming out, soon. Will post about that then.
