Greetings from the Pit
Last Saturday we were supposed to have had the final Kinky Boots show at the Oulun Teatteri, and as always we had a fun time performing the music down here in the Pit!
Supposed to? Two more shows had been added in December, almost at the same time as the first rehearsals with the band started in December 2024. By now there had been all together 50+ shows which I shared with a colleague.
The whole show had been a fun learning experience for me and I enjoyed every show I played on. I wondered whether there ever comes the moment where I get bored, but no, it never came.
It had been fun all the way. This is of course due to the great show, the whole team and all my friends in the band.
I have though, and this is somewhat surprising to myself, never seen the second act myself! I had the chance to watch the first act, but performed during the second act and after that never had the chance to see it myself! And now, with only two shows left, it seems there will not be the chance to do so.
I hear it's great though!
