New Pen Day: Uni Zento Signature

It's new-pen-day! The Zento Signature has arrived.

I have been using the Zento 0.38 refill in the Zento Flow (?) barrel for the past three months and have enjoyed quite a bit. It writes nicely and it's that kind of off-black that I enjoy a lot. It's a bit like the black in the Signo pens, which I had been a fan of for quite some time.

I enjoy the 0.38 refill but always found the Flow barrel to be somewhat too slippery for my hand. To be fair, this is 100% a me-problem - I have very dry hands and pens easily get slippery, but I was able to "fix" that with a piece of tape around the grip-section of the pen.

I got-by during the last months with this configuration but thought that I might go for the more fancy-pants model hoping it wouldn't be as slippery. Also it looks just great.

I was in luck. The barrel overall is a bit heavier, feels very nice in my hand and isn't slippery at all and looks as awesome as I expected.

I understood that this pen is particularly hard to get, and sometimes stupidly overpriced, but I got the pen for list price.

Now I only have to find a nice pen-loop for my Travelers Journal, but that's a whole different can of worms.
